Sony Raises PlayStation Plus Prices Again with Immediate Hikes for New Signups
Unprecedented hardware market conditions are making a continuous impact on the gaming console space, and the latest service to feel that impact is PlayStation Plus. Fortunately, it's something of a minor change: PlayStation Plus' entry-level Essential subscription price is going up by $1 per month when purchased in one-month intervals (to $10.99 USD from $9.99 USD), or by $3 for three-month subscriptions (to $27.99 USD from $24.99.) Current subscribers outside of Turkey and India as well as unspecified "select regions" won't be impacted unless their current subscription changes, which is at least one saving grace.
Starting May 20, PlayStation Plus prices for new customers will increase in select regions. Due to ongoing market conditions, prices will start at $10.99 USD / €9.99 EUR / £7.99 GBP for 1-month subscriptions and $27.99 USD / €27.99 EUR / £21.99 GBP for 3-month subscriptions.…— PlayStation (@PlayStation) May 18, 2026
