I remember seeing the T‑800 of 1984, and that was terrifying enough, and by the time we got Judgement Day in 1991, James Cameron had introduced the liquid‑metal T‑1000 and, more importantly, the idea that our worst fears can upgrade themselves within a decade.

Fast‑forward to 2026, and the pace is becoming insane. Forget measuring progress in weeks and months; some of these tools are a week-to-week proposition. Which brings us to our question, ‘Is AI really coming for my job?’
