Snowflake Summit 2026 - "An AI platform for every professional", promises co-founder Benoît Dageville
Benoît Dageville has taken Snowflake on a journey. When diginomica first interviewed the technology specialist’s co-founder and president four years ago, he was more concerned about proving the company’s cloud credentials than focusing on emerging technologies.
However, four years is a lifetime in enterprise technology. And just like every other IT provider is eager to prove its AI credentials, so Snowflake is embracing emerging technology. As was demonstrated during the company’s keynote presentation at the firm’s Summit 2026 event in San Francisco, Snowflake is focused squarely on helping businesses exploit agentic AI.
While the company remains committed to refining its core cloud-based data platform, Dageville recognized later in a face-to-face with diginomica that the tech firm’s desire to become the control plane for agentic AI is a significant shift and a new phase in the company’s development:
