Snapchat Moves Beyond Social Media With AI
Snap has announced its Q1 2026 earnings and the numbers alone show a business that is starting to regain balance. Daily active users grew to 483 million, monthly active users touched 956 million, and revenue increased 12% year-over-year to USD 1.53 billion. More importantly, Snap reduced its net loss to USD 89 million while improving operating cash flow and free cash flow.
Nearly 70% of ad spend now runs on AI automation, and Sponsored Snaps inside Chat boosted click‑through rates by 226% and conversions by 59%.
