Slice Appoints Samir Sawhney As Executive Director, Ramesh Kumar As Independent Director
Digital banking platform slice has appointed former State Bank of India (SBI) Chief General Manager Samir Sawhney as Executive Director and former ICICI Bank senior executive Ramesh Kumar as an Independent Director on its board, as the bank strengthens its leadership with banking, technology and governance experience.
Both appointments have been approved by the slice board, while the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved Sawhney’s appointment as Executive Director, the company said.
The appointments come as slice enters its next phase of growth following its merger with North East Small Finance Bank and its transition into a full-stack bank.

Sawhney brings more than three decades of banking experience across treasury, investment management, retail operations, marketing and human resources.
