Should You Switch to AT&T's New Unlimited Phone Plans? Here's What You Pay For - CNET
Have you checked your phone bill lately? If you’ve been an AT&T customer for a while, now is a good time to scope out the company’s postpaid unlimitedphone plans because they changed quite a bit this year. (And if you’re on a competing network, this could help if you’re pondering a switch.)
AT&T also introduced a modular option that can now be bundled with home internet service and also introduced a new high-end plan with few limitations.
These plans replace the AT&T Value Plus VL, Unlimited Extra EL and Unlimited Premium PL plans. The carrier also removed its Unlimited Starter SL plan, which served as the entry-level plan (you had to know where to look to find the limited, but cheaper, Value Plus VL plan). On some plans, customers are paying more than before thanks to a legacy rate increase that went into effect in August.
