Seeed Studio has announced a new development kit for computer vision projects, which pairs a Rockchip RK3576 computer-on-module with a feature-packed carrier board — plus an optional RK1820 neural coprocessor delivering a claimed 20 tera-operations per second (TOPS) of compute at minimum precision.

"The reComputer RK3576 Module Dev Kit combines the RK3576 Compute Module and a feature-rich IO [Input/Output] Board into a complete development platform for edge AI [Artificial Intelligence] prototyping and system validation," Seeed claims of its latest launch. "Move from a bare compute module to a complete development platform without designing a custom carrier board at the beginning of your project."
