Seeed Studio Launches its Next-Gen Tracker, the SenseCAP MeshTracker X1, with Semtech LR2021 Chip
Seeed Studio has announced the latest entry in its Meshtastic-compatible LoRa tracker lineup, the SenseCAP MeshTracker X1 — delivering dual-band Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) location tracking and 868‒915MHz LoRa connectivity in an IP66-rated compact card-format gadget.
"As more people started using Meshtastic for real outdoor adventures," Seeed's Zero Zhang explains of the company's latest launch, referring to the community-driven LoRa mesh networking project, "we noticed a new challenge: a communication device is only useful if you actually have it with you. That question led us to create SenseCAP MeshTracker X1. The world's first Meshtastic tracker with dual-band GPS, powered by Semtech's next-generation LR2021 LoRa technology—designed to keep you connected beyond cellular coverage."
