Say Hello to the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2
Running cutting-edge AI models requires a lot of computing power, which is easy enough to provide when you have a rack full of servers at your disposal. Things get much more difficult when that computing power needs to fit inside a robot or drone. In these cases, there are strict limits on size and power consumption, yet the computer still has to process information quickly enough to do its job.
NVIDIA has announced a new computer that was created specifically for those sorts of applications. The Jetson Orin Nano 2 is the latest member of the company's Jetson family of embedded computers, offering plenty of AI processing horsepower without needing much space or energy. NVIDIA is targeting applications ranging from home robots and industrial vision systems to delivery and inspection drones with this release.
