Sarvam AI has reduced the price of its Sarvam Vision API from ₹1.5 per page to ₹0.5 per page after the platform crossed more than 35 million pages digitised through developers and partners.
Launched in February, Sarvam Vision is a vision-language model (VLM) designed for document intelligence. The model helps convert physical and digital documents into structured formats by extracting text, tables, and other information while preserving document layouts.
The company said the price reduction follows improvements made to its serving infrastructure as adoption increased among users handling higher document volumes. Sarvam AI optimised inference kernels for state-space architecture, improved page-level batching, and increased hardware utilisation across its sovereign cloud infrastructure to make the model more efficient at scale.
