Sandisk has introduced two SSD families designed specifically for network-attached storage systems, with capacities reaching 7.68TB.

The company says the NAS 600 SATA and NAS 800 NVMe drives are designed for prosumers, creative professionals, and small businesses.

The NAS 600 reaches 4TB through SATA connectivity, while the NAS 800 uses PCIe 5.0 and extends capacity to 7.68TB.

Sandisk builds separate storage options for NAS workloads

The NAS 600 uses a 2.5-inch, 7mm SATA design that fits compatible NAS systems supporting 2.5-inch solid-state drives, and comes in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, with sequential read speeds of up to 560 MB/s across the range.
