Samsung Rolls Out One UI 9 Beta on the Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung has launched the One UI 9 beta for Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra users in the US, UK, Germany, India, Poland, and South Korea. The update is based on Android 17, and the users who enroll through the Samsung Members app can download it now. However, Samsung says the rollout may vary by region and carrier, so some users may see the beta later than others.

One UI 9 brings new tools to Samsung Notes:

  • A "tape" option that lets users cover parts of their notes and reveal them later, as well as more pen styles for handwriting and sketching.
  • The Contacts app now connects with Creative Studio, so users can create personalized profile cards directly inside the app.
  • Quick Panel gives users more control over layout and the size of controls like brightness, sound, and the media player.
