Samsung India has reportedly initiated workforce reductions, laying off approximately 80 to 100 employees across its television and consumer electronics divisions, according to reporting by Business Today. The cutbacks affect multiple managerial tiers—including team leaders, branch heads, regional managers, and director-level executives. Sources indicate that termination notices are being delivered in small batches, with some affected staff asked to exit immediately without completing a notice period.
