Samsung Debuts Galaxy Tab S12: Here Are My Hands-On First Impressions - CNET
Samsung can’t quite seem to settle on what sizes its top Android tablet should come in. With last year’s Galaxy Tab S11, the jumbo 14.6-inch Ultra remained in the line, but we saw the return of the smaller, more affordable 11-inch model, as Samsung ditched the midsized 12.4-inch Plus model.
The reverse is true this year: Samsung keeps the 14.6-inch Ultra but swaps out the 11-inch model for the new 12.6-inch Tab S12 Plus. Available starting Oct. 7 in the US in gray or silver, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra starts at $1,400 (a $200 increase from the S11 version), while the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus starts at $1,200, with base configurations featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
I got a chance to use both models prior to the launch for a little bit. Here are some early impressions.
