Salesforce is putting Claude at the centre of its products, and itself inside Claude

Salesforce and Anthropic have announced an expanded partnership called Claudeforce, which puts Claude at the centre of Salesforce’s agent products and simultaneously puts Salesforce inside Claude as a plugin.

It formalises a relationship that already runs deep enough that Salesforce expects to spend around $300mn on Anthropic tokens this year, and it comes on top of a stake in Anthropic now valued at about $5bn.

The first half is the conventional one. Claude is now the reasoning model behind Salesforce’s Atlas Reasoning Engine, powers Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker by default, and is available in Agent Builder, all of which are live today.
