Rackspace Appoints Pranav Nambiar To Lead AI Infrastructure
Rackspace Technology has appointed Pranav Nambiar, Senior Vice President and General Manager, AI Infrastructure, Rackspace Technology, to lead its AI infrastructure business. The company said Nambiar will oversee the infrastructure strategy, operating model, partnerships, and go-to-market efforts for its AI infrastructure offerings.
Rather than expanding AI services alone, the appointment reflects Rackspace's focus on strengthening the operational layer required to move enterprise AI from proof of concept to production.
The Focus Is Shifting To AI Operations
As enterprises deploy AI at scale, infrastructure decisions increasingly revolve around governance, compliance, and operational consistency instead of raw computing power.
Rackspace says customer demand has evolved from simply accessing GPU capacity to building sovereign environments with governance built into the infrastructure. The company believes this is where enterprises will make long-term investments as AI workloads become business-critical.
