Protectt.ai Takes Majority Stake in AIShield to Expand AI Security Business
Cybersecurity company Protectt.ai has acquired a majority stake in AIShield, an artificial intelligence (AI) security platform incubated at Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW), to expand its AI security business and accelerate product development.
The investment comprises a primary issuance of shares and a secondary purchase from existing investors. AIShield will operate as an independent company, AI Shield Private Limited, under Protectt.ai, the companies said in a statement on Tuesday. The financial terms were not disclosed.
The partnership will combine Protectt.ai’s mobile application security capabilities and customer base in regulated industries with AIShield’s technology for securing AI systems. The investment will support research and development, international expansion and the development of sovereign AI security solutions.
