Pronto’s AI Camera Rollout Tests Who Benefits From AI Training Data

Pronto has launched Pronto Verified, a premium, opt-in service that allows customers to have home-service sessions recorded using wearable cameras.

The service is designed to create a verified record of the work performed while also generating anonymized visual data for training artificial intelligence (AI) models. Service professionals participating in verified bookings, meanwhile, earn roughly twice as much as they would from a standard booking, according to Pronto.

The company says customers are informed during the booking process that the session may be recorded and that anonymised footage may be used for AI training. Consent is reconfirmed when the service professional arrives, before the camera is activated.

Pronto's rollout marks a shift from a limited wearable-camera pilot to a commercial service. It also brings AI data collection into an ordinary consumer transaction: a home-service appointment.
