Procol says AI agents cut manufacturing procurement cycles by 75%
Procol, an AI-based procurement technology company, said its platform has helped manufacturing enterprises reduce procurement cycle times by 75% through AI-led automation and connected workflows.
The company works with more than 150 manufacturing businesses across over 10 countries, including Havells, Emami, Jindal, Blue Star, Somany Ceramics and Aditya Birla Group. According to Procol, its platform has delivered efficiency gains of more than 50%, reduced procurement cycles by up to 80% and generated cost savings of up to 10% across its customer base.
Manufacturing procurement involves coordinating purchases across multiple plants, suppliers, categories and internal teams. Manual supplier follow-ups, fragmented systems, lengthy approval processes and limited visibility into spending can delay purchasing decisions and complicate procurement management across locations.
Procol said its platform uses AI agents to automate activities across the procurement lifecycle, connecting processes rather than digitising individual steps in isolation.
