Healthtech platform ramps up investments in agentic AI and healthcare intelligence while hiring senior AI engineering talent globally

Practo said it has crossed $100 million in gross merchandise value (GMV) in the United States market, driven entirely by AI-led agentic systems that power healthcare discovery, decision-making, and care navigation.

The Bengaluru-based company said the milestone comes as it deepens its investments in AI infrastructure aimed at building what it described as the “intelligence layer” for healthcare systems globally. According to the firm, its platform currently handles more than 20,000 AI-driven calls and chats daily to provide healthcare information and patient support.

“We have spent nearly two decades building a deep understanding of how healthcare actually works across patients, providers, and outcomes. That foundation gives us a unique opportunity to build the AI brain for healthcare,” said Shashank ND, Founder and CEO of the company.
