Policybazaar for Business has partnered with Arete to strengthen cyber risk capabilities for Indian enterprises. The partnership combines cyber insurance advisory with digital forensics and incident response services.

The companies say the focus is on helping enterprises prepare for what they describe as “2 AM readiness” situations, in which cyber incidents occur when internal teams may not be immediately available.

Insurance Alone Is No Longer Enough

For years, cyber insurance was largely viewed as a financial safety net after a breach. But as ransomware attacks, infrastructure intrusions, and data breaches become more operationally disruptive, enterprises are increasingly demanding response capabilities alongside coverage.

Rather than treating cyber insurance as a standalone product, the collaboration aims to integrate insurance with real-time incident response support. That includes access to forensic investigation and cyber recovery expertise during active incidents.
