OpenClaw Brings AI Agents to iPhone and Android
OpenClaw, the open-source AI platform, has launched dedicated mobile applications for both iPhone and Android, extending its self-hosted AI agent ecosystem to smartphones. The apps function as companions to the OpenClaw Gateway, allowing users to interact with AI agents running on infrastructure they control instead of relying entirely on cloud-based AI services.

Extending AI Beyond the Desktop
Unlike conventional AI apps that process requests directly on mobile devices or vendor-operated cloud servers, OpenClaw's mobile applications serve primarily as an interface.
The apps connect to an OpenClaw Gateway running on a personal computer, cloud server, or another user-controlled environment. Once connected, users can communicate with AI agents through text or voice, approve tasks, monitor ongoing workflows, and receive notifications remotely.
