Bulgarian open-hardware specialist Olimex has announced a new carrier designed to turn a Raspberry Pi Pico or pin-compatible microcontroller development board into a high-voltage industrial controller: the PICO-EVB.

"Need to control relays and monitor high-voltage inputs with a Raspberry Pi Pico? We've got you covered," Olimex founder Tsvetan Usunov says of his latest board design. "PICO-EVB is our new evaluation board that turns your Pico into a real-world automation controller. Plug in a [Raspberry Pi] Pico, Pico 2, Pico W, Pico 2W, or our own PICO30 — and you’re ready to switch loads and read signals.
