NX Group and ISM Sign MoU for India Semiconductor Supply Chain

The NX Group (Nippon Express Group) and the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at SEMICON India 2026, establishing a framework for collaboration to support the development of India’s semiconductor ecosystem through specialised logistics expertise and supply chain solutions.

The signing ceremony took place on September 18, the second day of the exhibition, and was attended by Mr. Amitesh Kumar Sinha, CEO of India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), and Mr. Katsuhito Kobayashi, Executive Officer, CEO, South Asia & Oceania Region, Nippon Express (South Asia & Oceania) PTE. LTD

The MOU provides a platform for information sharing and dialogue on semiconductor-related logistics requirements, logistics infrastructure, and supply chain resilience. Through this collaboration, the NX Group and ISM will explore opportunities to address logistics challenges and contribute to the development of a robust and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem in India.
