NVIDIA’s AI Empire Crushes Q2 Estimates As Data Center Demand Soars

NVIDIA has published its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, delivering yet another record-shattering performance powered by continued global demand for AI infrastructure. For the quarter ending July 26, 2026, the company reported total revenue of $96.2 billion, representing a monstrous 106% increase year-over-year and a more modest 18% sequential gain over Q1. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share reached $2.22 (and $2.46 GAAP), beating Wall Street estimates of $92.17 billion in revenue and $2.10 per share.

Data Center Dominance Takes Center Stage

In what has become a familiar refrain, the main growth engine driving NVIDIA's record-setting earnings remains its Data Center division, which generated $89 billion in revenue for the quarter. That amounts to a 117% surge from the same period last year and an 18% increase sequentially.
