NVIDIA Rallies Over 100 Partners For Open Agent Safety Platform Launch

Regardless of what you think about AI, there are a lot of people out there deploying a whole lot of AI agents. These neural networks are given a goal and a set of capabilities that they can use to accomplish that goal, but rogue agents given a broad set of tools can use them to cause a lot of damage if left unchecked. To help prevent this kind of bad behavior, NVIDIA has just launched the Open Agent Safety Platform in cooperation with "over 100 partners."

The Open Agent Safety Platform is fundamentally made up of two parts: NVIDIA Sentry and NVIDIA OpenShell. OpenShell is a fully open-source application that can run on both x86 and Arm processors, so it's available for anyone to use under a permissive Apache license, which is very cool of NVIDIA.
