Nvidia partner ChipAgents raises $60M for agentic chip design
ChipAgents, a startup building AI agents that design and test semiconductors, has raised $60 million. The company, a partner of Nvidia, is betting that the same agentic AI reshaping software can be turned on the painstaking business of making chips.
The raise adds to an already busy year. ChipAgents closed a $21 million Series A last October and a $50 million round in February, so the latest cheque takes its total funding to roughly $134 million in under a year, a pace that tracks the wider rush into AI-native chip-design tools.
“We’re enabling the industry to move beyond AI assistants toward autonomous agents that can execute meaningful engineering work,” said William Wang, CEO and Founder, ChipAgents.
