Nutanix enters the tokenomics management arena
Nutanix is the latest to enter the emerging field of AI agent management. Since the third quarter of 2025, a plethora of enterprise technology vendors have released observability and governance platforms as they respond to the struggle CIOs are having with containing AI token costs, governance, and the cyber security risks that visiting bots pose. Nutanix Agent Gateway, released last week, included a world press tour by CEO Rajiv Ramaswami, who made the case for why Nutanix can help digital leaders with their tokenomics.
Nutanix describes the new Agent Gateway technology, which is now generally available, as a central control point for AI agent governance, providing secure access to enterprise AI tools and monitoring token consumption.
