Nutanix appoints Vaishali B. Shivshankar as Marketing Director
Nutanix has appointed Vaishali B. Shivshankar as Marketing Director, tasking her with leading field marketing across India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region.
Shivshankar joins the enterprise cloud computing company after serving in a regional marketing leadership role at F5, where she worked on marketing initiatives for India and SAARC. Her appointment brings experience spanning enterprise technology, partner engagement and regional marketing to Nutanix as businesses reassess their infrastructure strategies amid growing interest in hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence.
Before F5, Shivshankar was Partner Marketing Leader for India at VMware, where her role centred on partner-led marketing. She previously headed marketing for India and SAARC at Rackspace Technology, building experience in cloud technology and enterprise-focused marketing.
Across these roles, her career has covered demand generation, partner marketing and regional go-to-market initiatives, areas that connect marketing programmes with customer engagement and business development.
