Nordic Semiconductor's nRF93M1 DK Makes Terrestrial Cellullar, Satellite IoT Accessible to All
Nordic Semiconductor's nRF93M1, designed for satellite and cellular Internet of Things (IoT) projects, is now available in first-party Developer Kit form — priced at around $65 depending on distribution channel.
"[The] nRF93M1 delivers what customers have been asking for — a high‑quality, low-power Cat 1 bis module that's smaller, easier to integrate, and built for the cloud from day one," said Nordic's Oyvind Birkenes when the module was formally unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2026 earlier this year. "It brings more performance with less complexity, giving developers a powerful, future‑ready platform."
