Nintendo Announces $500 Switch 2 Bundle With Choice of First-Party Game
This Tuesday, Nintendo announced a new "Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle" priced at $499.99. As the name suggests, the bundle includes a Nintendo Switch 2 and a download code for one of three first-party Switch 2 exclusives: Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia. The bundle will roll out at participating US retailers in early June.
A lone Switch 2 currently sells for about $449.99 in the US, while the offered Switch 2 exclusive titles range from $69.99 to $79.99. This means the bundle offers savings of $20 to $30 if you plan to buy Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia anyway.
Nintendo's bundle announcement follows news of its forthcoming Switch 2 price hikes, which will take place later this month in Japan and this September in the US.
