Netmore adds Kinéis satellite connectivity to LPWAN network
Netmore Group has added Kinéis satellite connectivity to its LPWAN network to support hybrid terrestrial and orbital IoT operations. The integration provides single-platform management for customers across the utilities, water, infrastructure, and smart city sectors.
Kinéis operates a sovereign European constellation of 25 satellites dedicated to IoT and Automatic Identification Systems (AIS). Netmore delivers the combined connectivity directly through its ThingPark platform, extending device communication beyond the physical reach of ground-based LoRaWAN networks without requiring separate management systems.
Cécile Morel, Commercial Director at Kinéis, said: “This partnership with Netmore is a concrete illustration of our ability to team up with major players in massive IoT to build solutions that are ready to deploy from day one.
“By combining the global reach of our constellation with the strength of Netmore’s LoRaWAN network, we offer businesses a level of service continuity that neither technology could guarantee on its own.”
