Namma Yatri Launches Namma Santhe To Help Drivers Cut Everyday Costs
Namma Yatri has launched Namma Santhe, a retail platform for drivers on its network, extending its zero-commission model beyond ride-hailing to purchases of everyday goods.
The platform, launched in partnership with Keystones, allows Namma Yatri drivers to purchase products through a physical store at the company's Bengaluru office or through an online storefront on the Namma Yatri app. Namma Yatri said it takes no margin on sales made through Namma Santhe.
The marketplace is available to the company's 7.71 lakh enabled drivers and includes mobile phones and accessories, three-wheelers, automotive products, rain covers, safety equipment, electronics, household essentials, personal care products, bags and work accessories.
Products are sourced through original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), manufacturers, authorized distributors and verified suppliers. Keystones and Namma Yatri said suppliers and products are checked for authenticity, quality and warranty support before being listed.
