SEBI Approves Appointment Of Upma Dada Chawdhry As MSE Chairperson
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the appointment of Upma Dada Chawdhry, a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, as the Chairperson of the Governing Board of the Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India (MSE).
With the appointment, Chawdhry becomes the only woman Chairperson among India’s Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs). She was previously serving as a Public Interest Director at MSE.
