MongoDB Names Richard Scott As SVP For Asia Pacific And Japan

MongoDB has appointed Richard Scott as Senior Vice President for APJ. Based in Sydney, Scott will lead the company’s regional strategy as MongoDB looks to expand its presence across key markets and support businesses moving AI applications from experimentation to deployment.

Scott brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector, including senior roles at Salesforce, Microsoft and SAP.

From AI Experiments To Production

The timing of the appointment points to a broader change in how enterprises are approaching AI.

The first phase of enterprise AI adoption was largely about experimentation. Companies tested use cases, evaluated models and explored where AI could fit into existing workflows.
