Modded RTX 3060 With No External Power Can't Quite Beat a GTX 1060
A Chinese modder stripped down an RTX 3060 graphics card and performed a shunt mod so it no longer needs external power, making it ideal for super-compact gaming systems. Unfortunately, performance is pretty poor: about half of what a stock RTX 3060 delivers.

A Bilibili creator going by WestmereX showed the card off online, with Uniko's Hardware picking it up. The card's a single-slot, blower design with a low-profile PCIe bracket that has just enough room for a couple of display outputs: one DisplayPort and one HDMI.
