Meta Launches Meta One Subscription Across AI, Business Tools

Meta has introduced Meta One, a subscription service covering Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI. It combines higher AI usage with additional features for individuals, creators, and businesses. Meta says more than 50 features are already part of the offering and that it has recorded 15 million subscriptions and trials to date.

The core versions of Meta’s apps and everyday Meta AI access remain free. The paid layer is aimed at users who want more AI usage, additional capabilities, and professional tools.

Meta isn't putting its basic services behind a paywall. Instead, it is creating a second layer around them, where heavier AI usage and more business-oriented functions become subscription features.
