Meta Launches Meta Glasses, a Cheaper Alternative to Ray-Ban Meta
This Tuesday, Meta launched its own AI smart glasses, Meta Glasses, a cheaper alternative to its Ray‑Ban Meta lineup. These start at $299, compared to Ray-Ban Meta's $379.
Though Meta developed Meta Glasses in‑house, it's still working with EssilorLuxottica, the group behind Ray‑Ban and Oakley, to manufacture the frames. The line has several styles: Meta Adventurer has a rectangular design in normal and large sizes, Meta Fury has thicker frames, and Meta Glasses by Kylie (Jenner) features a slimmer oval frame. Users can buy these with plain, prescription, tinted, or transition lenses and can adjust each pair's nose pad width to three positions for improved comfort.
