Meta Appoints Ravi Garg to Lead Enterprise Business Across APAC

Meta has appointed Ravi Garg as Managing Director, Enterprise Business for Asia-Pacific (APAC), expanding his responsibilities from India to the wider regional market.

Announced on October 9, 2026, the appointment places Garg in charge of Meta's enterprise strategy across APAC, with a focus on expanding the adoption of AI-powered solutions and business messaging platforms.

The move comes as Meta looks to strengthen its enterprise presence across the region, particularly as businesses explore how AI can support customer interactions and operational workflows.

Garg moves into the regional role after spending more than five years leading WhatsApp's business messaging and payments operations in India.

Between July 2021 and September 2026, he served as Country Director, Business Messaging & Payments at WhatsApp, overseeing the development of its commercial ecosystem and payment capabilities in the country.
