Maybe You Can 3D Print with Any UV Printer

From the moment I completed my first print with the eufyMake E1 about 19 months ago, I knew consumer UV printing was going to make a huge impact. There are now several competitors coming to market and each of them is attempting to up the ante. A couple notable examples even allow true 3D printing in full-color. But why can’t they all do that? YGK3D wanted to know, so he decided to find out if it is possible to do 3D printing with a regular UV printer.

For these experiments, YGK3D used a Morpho desktop UV printer, which is similar to the eufyMake E1 and intended for flat prints with 3D texture. That stands in contrast to the HeyGears G1X and Flashforge CJ270—both of which are advertised as 3D printers.
