MapmyIndia Elevates Rohan Verma to Joint MD as AI Strategy Deepens
MapMyIndia has appointed Rohan Verma as Joint Managing Director, effective July 1, 2026. The move comes as the digital mapping and geospatial technology company sharpens its focus on artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced deep-tech platforms.
The appointment is less about a routine executive elevation and more about aligning the company's leadership with its long-term technology roadmap.
As joint managing director, Rohan Verma will work alongside the leadership team to drive MapmyIndia's AI-native products and solutions. His responsibilities will include advancing technologies built around AI, geospatial intelligence, IoT, and emerging deep-tech capabilities while identifying new market opportunities and accelerating product innovation.
According to the company, he will also lead its brand, marketing, and innovation strategy while strengthening its position across India's AI and geospatial ecosystem.
