Manus 2.0 and Cue give AI agents their own email, phone and wallet
Manus, the AI agent startup founded in China and now based in Singapore, launched Manus 2.0 on Monday. It also released Cue, a standalone app for personal AI agents. In Cue, each agent gets its own email address, phone number, wallet and computer, the company wrote in a blog post.
“Manus 2.0 is not a version update. It’s a new architecture, new products, and new capabilities,” Manus wrote.
The launch comes five months after Beijing ordered Meta to cancel its $2bn deal for the startup, as Micah Barkley reported for Bloomberg. Meta had agreed to buy Manus at the end of 2025.
