M5Stack’s New PowerHub IoT Dev Kit Looks Super Useful
I don’t know about you, but power always seems to be an afterthought for me. On more occasions than I’d like to admit, I’ve ended up hot gluing a AA battery holder or bare LiPo battery into an enclosure. But that’s sloppy and even dangerous. Which is why a new solution from M5Stack, the PowerHub Dev Kit, looks super useful
This caught my eye, because I’ve never seen a product quite like it. M5Stack is calling it a “multi-channel power management controller” and that’s a pretty good term, but I think it might sell the device a little short. The best way I can think to describe this is as an ESP32-based development device, powered by an off-the-shelf battery, and powering just about everything you can imagine with intelligence.
