LocalSend is a free, open-source alternative to AirDrop and Quick Share that lets you transfer files between nearby devices, regardless of which operating system they use. Transfers take place directly over your local Wi-Fi or wired network, without uploading anything to cloud storage or passing data through a third-party server.
