Lightspeed Backs Trackk As Gen Z Joins Markets
Trackk has raised $3.7 million in seed funding led by Lightspeed, with participation from Info Edge Ventures and several angel investors. The Mumbai- and Bengaluru-based startup is building a platform designed around how younger users engage with financial markets – combining AI-led stock discovery, personalised user journeys, and simplified execution tools.
For decades, investing in India was dominated by seasoned traders and long-term investors who relied on research reports and brokerage advice. But Gen Z’s entry has changed that rhythm. Discovery now happens through creators, communities, and social platforms – a dynamic that traditional financial institutions have struggled to adapt to.
