Lenovo expands infrastructure portfolio to support virtualisation modernisation and AI workloads
Lenovo has announced new infrastructure solutions and deployment services aimed at helping enterprises modernise virtualised environments and prepare for AI workloads.
The portfolio includes the ThinkAgile VX850 V4 for highly virtualised environments and in-memory workloads, three tiers of infrastructure deployment services, and an expanded range of Lenovo Express Solutions covering virtualisation and hybrid cloud platforms.
“Organisations are focused on modernising virtualised infrastructure to improve efficiency and resilience while maintaining flexibility in an increasingly complex IT landscape,” said Scott Patti, Vice President, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Lenovo. He said the company’s offerings were intended to give customers greater choice and control while allowing their infrastructure to evolve with changing requirements.
Lenovo’s expanded Express Solutions portfolio includes validated configurations for Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Microsoft Azure Local, Nutanix Compute Cluster and SUSE Virtualization. The configurations combine Lenovo infrastructure with partner software to reduce integration complexity and simplify deployment.
