Leaked Images Show Off Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide Frame

Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 has appeared in a new hands‑on image leak, revealing its updated frame. With how broad the upcoming phone is, some have taken to calling it the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide.

The pictured dummy unit (courtesy of hardware reviewer Sonny Dickson) appears smaller than your average smartphone when folded, unlike the tall, narrow layout of earlier Fold models. Unfolded, the frame looks very thin. The back features a familiar vertical camera island, similar to the S25 Edge, with two lenses.

The dummy does not turn on. Earlier reports indicate that the Fold 8 line's Wide variant will have a 4:3‑ish inner display and a cover screen around 5.4 inches. Other leaks suggest Samsung is planning a camera setup with a 200MP main sensor on the regular Fold 8, while the Wide model may use two 50MP rear cameras instead.
