A declaration on regulating AI was adopted on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Monday with the backing of 21 countries, but the signatories do not include - predictably enough - the USA or - very much more surprisingly - the UK.
While the AI content of President Trump’s address to the General Assembly was dominated by his ludicrous announcement that AI was to be re-named SI or Super Intelligence across the US Government, he also made clear once more:
