iPhone Duo's Dynamic Digital Bezel Helps It Fit Different Cases
Apple has integrated a setting into its all-new iPhone Duo that lets users increase the foldable's digital bezel on the outer screen. The option, called “Shift Left Edge,” appears in the display settings and moves content inward when a case partly covers the left edge of the cover display.
When activated, Shift Left Edge creates a visible black bezel on the left edge of the screen, preventing text, icons, and controls from being covered by the edge of a phone case. Importantly, the change applies only to the outer screen of iPhone Duo and does not alter the inner main display or the physical panel. Users can turn the toggle on or off, allowing them to regain a bit of screen real estate when they're using the phone case-free.
