The iPhone Duo is slated to arrive October 23, and on the surface, the new foldable has a lot of overlap with Apple's smallest iPad, the iPad Mini. The Duo's interface is very iPad-esque, with a similar screen size and better hardware. However, whether the iPhone Duo can truly replace an iPad depends significantly on what you need from such a device.
